I pretend to be annoyed when my California friends make jokes about it, but I secretly love it. I love the snow jokes, the you betcha comments, all of it. I grew up doing lots of sports; mostly competitive swimming, soccer, and snowboarding; but I was always channelling my weird theatre kid side- which started in elementary school when I would force my friends to come up with ‘skits’ on the playground. At a young age I was making goofy little movies with my friends and family, and they all had a hunch I would wanna be on stage one day. I did shows all through middle school, high school, and now college, and have studied acting, musical theatre, and classical music & opera, and have been involved in sketch comedy and improv. I love it all, and want to keep doing it all.
